Refund policy
At Mudcat Clay, each piece is handmade with care, and we want you to love your purchase. If you experience an issue with your order, we're here to help.
Returns
Due to the handmade nature of our products and for hygiene reasons, all earrings are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@mudcatclay.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the damaged or incorrect item and packaging
Once reviewed, we will gladly offer a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
Lost Packages
Mudcat Clay is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or delayed by the shipping carrier once they have been marked as shipped. If your package is missing, please contact the carrier directly. We are happy to assist with locating your shipment whenever possible.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After that time, orders may already be in production or packaged for shipment and cannot be canceled.
Handmade Variations
Because each item is handcrafted, slight variations in color, shape, texture, and pattern are part of what makes your piece unique and are not considered defects.
Sale Items
Items marked as sale, clearance, or purchased with a promotional discount are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to process and post the refund.
